Texas
"Thank you, but we’re just looking," the couple from Texas made it pretty clear. However, after being shown the
selection, it was even more clear that she had fallen in love with a gorgeous Ritani Endless Love Engagement Ring.
Since this wasn’t a buying trip, the couple eventually left the store with only a card blanketed with information
about the ring and the promise that they would "be in touch." Weeks later, there he was, but he didn’t seem to be
the same big-hearted Texan who has visited before. This time, he was drenched in stress. He left his home in Texas,
jumped a plane to Denver, rented a car and traversed the winding mountain roads to get the ring. One last thing—he
absolutely must make it back to Denver to catch his flight back to Texas so he could be back home by 6 pm. This way
she wouldn’t suspect a thing. It might have been easier to just call in advance so we could have taken care of all
of it over the phone—but the card had been lost and the name of the store had been forgotten. All that remained was
a vague memory of the location. Without delay, we got to the task at hand—we found the ring (and a matching wedding
band) and he was ready to go. Almost. The bank thought his credit card was stolen. It turns out, when you buy a last
minute plane ticket, rent car, and then try to buy quality jewelry in a different state, they tend to get suspicious.
With the clock ticking, everyone hit the phones to explain the situation to banks, creditors, and merchant services.
Luckily, there were enough funds accessible that the purchase could be split amongst his various cards. He made it out
the door and back to the airport just in time to make it home with his "Endless Love."
